Dick Bell grew up in Gillette, Wyoming, received a BS in Accounting from the University of Wyoming in 1994 and, upon graduation, started working for CPA Consulting Group as a staff accountant. He became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1995, and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) in 2002. That same year he became partner at CPA Consulting Group and was promoted to managing partner in 2005.
Dick, a licensed CPA in the state of Wyoming, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wyoming Society of CPAs. He is also a licensed CVA (Certified Valuation Analyst) and a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. Dick specializes in tax planning and preparation, business consulting and planning, business valuations and litigation support, retirement plan adoption and operation, financial planning, and estate, trust and gift planning.
Dick particularly enjoys helping client’s businesses become more successful through planning and consulting. His clientele include construction contractors, specialty trades, healthcare providers, oil and gas industry businesses, professional service providers, farmers and ranchers and many more.
Dick is an avid golfer who loves sharing a good cigar with friends on the golf course where his 2002 claim to fame was recording a double eagle and a hole-in-one within three months of each other. Outside golf season, he lives (and sometimes dies) cheering the Denver Broncos. He and his wife Kim love to travel to warm, sandy oceanfront beaches to relax. Occasionally during hunting season, he is found chasing, but hardly ever catching, elk up in the mountains of Wyoming.
