Hobbies: “I’m a huge sports fan, so I like to watch and talk about sports as much as I can. I also do a little fishing and hunting when I can, and I enjoy just hanging out and spending time with my friends and family.”
Bio: Bryan Junge was working at a golf course when he was first approached by Dick Bell about working for CPA Consulting Group.
“While I was working at a golf course here in Casper, I got approached by Dick [Bell] to consider a career in accounting,” Junge stated. “I was about three years into my marketing degree when Dick approached me about looking into the public accounting field. After doing more research on the profession, I found that accounting could be a good career path for me. I started at CPA Consulting Group, LLP doing a summer internship and after graduation, was offered a job.”
Junge graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, but he also opted to finish his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, as well. Both degrees have served him well, and he is now one of the CPA’s for CPA Consulting Group, LLP. But he also does much of the company’s marketing, working closely with their advertising firm and exploring new ways in which CPA Consulting Group, LLP can serve their clients.
“I’ve always had an interest in the business world,” Junge said. “While public accounting was not the career I had planned after high school, I cannot think of a better profession to work in”.
Junge said he doesn’t have a favorite part of the job, because he likes all of it.
“I love the whole process of what I do,” he beamed. “I especially enjoying working with small businesses. Small businesses are a vital part of our community, so finding ways to help them be more successful at the business level as well as at the personal level is a rewarding part of my job.”
What the professionals do at CPA Consulting Group, LLP is more than just entering your number of dependents into Turbo Tax. They deliver innovative, and comprehensive accounting, tax and financial planning, helping small businesses and owners achieve success.
“It’s our job, our role, to help however we can,” Junge stated. “The annual tax return preparation is like the x’s and o’s of what we’re doing, but we work to try and see what is not only going to help our clients in the current year, but also going forward. We take pride in being a very professional organization that strives to continually be knowledgeable about every law and rule change to help our clients. I appreciate that at our firm, we are always working to find ways to be a resource to our clients.”
CPA Consulting Group, LLP offers everything from tax services and planning to accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll services, business consulting, wealth advisory services and more.
The tax professionals at CPA Consulting go above and beyond because they legitimately care about their clients. This was something that appealed to Junge because he knows the value of relationships, in work and in life.
“I’ve only been here a couple of years, but I’ve met so many people,” he said. “While we do get new clients, we have several clients who have been with us for many years. I think those are the ones that we really take pride in because those relationships are what we work to build.”
Especially in a place like Wyoming, relationships are key, just because it’s such a tight-knit community. Junge has lived in Casper for the past 25 years and he has no plans on leaving anytime soon.
“I can’t think of a better place to live,” he said. “I love the fact that Casper is one of the bigger towns in Wyoming, yet Casper is also a small enough community that it seems like everybody knows everybody, which is something I appreciate. Our great state gives people a lot of opportunities to get outside and explore. It is just beautiful state and somewhere I have always appreciated being able to call home. It’s never really crossed my mind to leave Wyoming.”
Relationships, Junge said, are key. And he is proud of the ones he’s been able to cultivate while part of CPA Consulting Group, LLP.
“We really strive to have relationships with our clients, rather than just getting people in the door, finishing their tax return, and saying ‘see you next year’,” he said. “We really like to get to know the people that we’re working with. We strive to be a resource to our clients; we recognize that each client is unique and tailor our services to help achieve their goals. The concept of relationship building also carries through our firm. We as a group are always willing to work together and learn from each other. Most of our staff has been here for many years, which I think just shows how great of a place this is to work.”
Bryan Junge has only been with CPA Consulting Group, LLP for a few years but he has established himself as a pivotal part of the team. He said that he wants to grow as a CPA, and he also wants to help the company grow as well.
“We’re more than just a tax preparation company,” he said. “We really strive to build relationships and find ways to help people succeed, their success is our success.”
